On August 27th, Ross Satterwhite and Mark Nesbitt are once again going to play 100 holes of golf to support the Leelanau Historical Society. This is the 13th year for this event which began in 2006! The Society is dedicated to collecting and preserving Leelanau County’s rich history. All funds raised will support collection care and documentation, exhibit development, educational programs and research projects. The collections and archives now contain more than 25,000 items pertaining to Leelanau life and its maritime history.
Each donor will be entered into a drawing for a $300 gift certificate redeemable at the Leland Country Club Pro Shop. The winner will be announced during a reception to be held at 5pm on the deck of the Leland Lodge, immediately following the 100th hole. All donors and family members are encouraged to attend this fun event and help us celebrate!
A special thanks to the membership and staff of the Leland Country Club for their ongoing generosity and assistance in making this annual event possible.
