The Museum Store at the Old Library |
The Leelanau Historical Society's new Museum Store is off to a great start. Since moving into the Old Library Building across from the Bluebird, we have expanded on our old favorites and brought in new handcrafted items from around Leelanau County, and beyond. The Museum Store is now managed by Kathy Powell, who has a long history of retail experience in Leelanau County, as well a masters degree in history.
The Museum Store offers distinctive merchandise that reflects the character of the Leelanau Peninsula and its islands. Many of the items are made by Leelanau artists and artisans and are sold exclusively at the Museum Store, now Anchored by classic values such as service, quality, and integrity, the Museum Store blends tradition and innovation, and always seeks to be original and entrepreneurial. The volunteer driven Museum Store helps finance the Leelanau Historical Society and its important missions. We are now offering a variety of items through our website featuring photograph reproductions from the LHM archives. You can use our online order form to purchase any of these items.

The Museum Store feature items of historical interest produced by the Leelanau Historical Society. Our The Way We Were calendar, the Hans W. Anderson His Life and Art book, a variety of prints by the great Bruce Unwin and others, along with photos and posters, are just some of the Society's projects. We continue to develop from within quality items that reflect our mission, while, at the same time, we actively seek new local products for our store.
