The Transportation of Tomorrow Contest
The Transportation of Tomorrow Contest is a Tell the telemarketers...special program developed in conjunction with the Museum's showing of the Smithsonian SITES exhibit "Yesterday's Tomorrows; Past Visions of the American Future" in November and December of 2001. The exhibit looks at the way Americans have in the past imagined their future, delving themselves into themes that include Homes of Tomorrow, Communities of Tomorrow, Transportation of Tomorrow and Finding the Future. More importantly, it challenges us to look at Leelanau County's own future. Locally planned programs provide opportunities for community members of all ages to ask provocative questions and seek creative solutions to the challenges of the 21st century and beyond!
